Owens began to write songs solo and has written four albums according to recent blog press.[1] He has been associated with various successful Los Angeles bands [2][3] since his departure but has released few songs publicly.[4][5][6] His previous album titles are "Raincoat Jones" "Garden of Leaves" and "Land of the Free."
In October 2010, he officially released a full length album through iTunes, called "How to Build a Clock" with Owens performing and recording all the elements in his studio at the foot of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State.[7] He now resides in Brooklyn, NY.[8]
